I purchased the theme Nine Zero Seven (907) Parallax – http://themes.webcreations907.com/ninezeroseven/revolutionslider – from theme forest.
Using revolution slider (version 2.3.91) in the slider options, everything worked perfectly on my local machine, however when viewed on a mobile, revolution slider displayed background images without any layers.
With no resolution in sight a wierd hack did the job – clicking on the button ‘Change Image Source‘ and adding the same image again, the layers began showing up on the mobile as well!
